The Cowboy's Family by Carolyne Aarsen. This is an amazing story about the closeness and love of a family through heartaches, trials, troubles, abuse, death, engagements, children, marriage, relationship & respect! Family members may leave home but are always welcome back no matter what life has thrown at them. And a wonderful romance begins but the ugly past may break that up before it really gets started. And what would Cowboy's be good for without a ranch for the family to live on. And do not forget two sweet babies who are a hand full. And a mystery man that wants them babies. Does he get them? You just have to read this book! The more you read the more you want to know! I walked around with the book in my hand. It is wonderful. You have to read it. I highly recommend it. I received an ARC from the Author in exchange for a honesty opinion.
Horse trainer, Mason, is not comfortable of feeding information on Tricia to Roger, his boss, but does because he owes Roger so much. Tricia, the widowed mother of two year old twins, has made mistakes in the past, but she is trying to be a good mother. Even though Tricia only has nap time to work with Mason, she is hoping to learn his training methods. As they work together, they draw closer together. I received a free copy of this book from the author. I love this book. The characters are interesting and well developed. This is the first book that I have read in this series, but I have since purchased the first book and plan on reading it soon. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone. I recommend this book.
I really enjoyed this story and I am so glad there are two more books in this series. There are two really strong, inspiring characters in this story. Tricia Tye is a single mother of twins. Her husband died a while ago and she just gotten out of a relationship when it turned abusive. Like any single mom she has doubts that she is a very good parent and she has some mending to do with her relationships with her dad and her brothers when she moves back home.Mason Harding is a sexy horse trainer whose fiancee died several years ago. He has been hired on at the Tye family ranch. Tricia does not know there is an ulterior motive that brought Mason to their ranch. Between that mystery and the sparks and chemistry between these two characters and you have an interesting story.The story was also interesting with the secondary characters of Tricia's brothers and future sister in law and those adorable two year old twins, Cash and Hope. This story has so much going on that I could not put the book down! I like that it was a sweet and clean romance. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Tricia met Mason when he came to her family’s ranch under the pretense of training her horses. She worked with Mason to learn how to train so she could sell her horses and begin her life independently. Neither meant to fall in love, but God had other plans. Could she trust Mason with her heart after he deceived her? Could he let go of his obligations? Would their pasts stand in the way of their future? Could Tricia raise her children without the help of others and keep them safe from the harm she had known or the lack of confidence from her family?Looking forward to the remaking 2 stories in this series.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is the second book in the Family Ties series. This is Tricia and Mason's love story and their love for horses. I loved this book so much that I had trouble putting it down. Tricia's young children, Hope and Cash, make the story more enjoyable with their antics. I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. You won't be disappointed in reading any books by this author.
