A friend of God - this book goes beyond an autobiography. It encourages the reader to seek a close relationship to God, trust what God tells us, and step out in faith. This is illustrated with personal and Biblical examples of prophets who have gone the extra mile. Kim suggests that God stretches our faith, and once we have walked in a particular path with God, God is going to advance our level of faith to a new dimension. One of many examples Kim gave was about Moses having to strike a rock to produce water. He did that and water gushed forth. The next time God told Moses to speak to the rock. Instead of speaking Moses struck the rock - while that was something that Moses knew worked in the past, God was trying to take Moses to a new dimension of faith speaking to the rock. I came away from reading this book with great hope and inspiration. I highly recommend this book.

I never paid too much attention to this prophet until recently and after he died. I find this book most revealing about him as he explains his life at gut level and I understand more perfectly how God uses all the talents and abilities that are given to His own. A worthy read for sure.

I really enjoyed this book very much! I wish Kim Clement had told more of his prophesies that have come to pass in the book -- perhaps a bit simpler ones as the few he did mention were very deep! Very insightful, fascinating book and I feel sure the reader will desire to hear God's voice for themselves as much as I do!

There are no words to explain! The persecutions he had to endure, speaks to my heart! The simplicity of his writing, anyone can write a book! I love the fact he quoted my facts from the Roman Catholic Church, the Saints etc. That'sa true prophet! Not condemning or judging!I am looking forward to his return with us, here on Earth!Now, you may 'Call Me CRAZY!' but that's possible according to Luke 18:27 (Whatever is Impossible With men is possible with God'!And also a years years are like one day in God's eyes!' (2Pet.3:8)☺

My 17 month old has recently taken an interest in anything to do with animals, so when I saw this book, I decided to give it a try so I could read/show it to him. Overall, I am pleased with the book especially given that right now, it's free.Pros:- It has 50 pages of mammals and mammal facts. The facts are short, but it's intended for children, so that's ok.- The pictures of mammals are close up shots. Some of the books i've been reading to my son show the animal at a distance, or with other animals. This book, however, shows each animal solely so your child can easily distinguish which animal it is. There are land-based mammals and sea-based mammals in this book, so I have an array of different mammals to show/teach my son.- It's a super easy read. If your kids are like my son, they're constantly throwing a book in your lap to read. I can zip through this book in about 4-5 minutes flat, getting it out of my son's blood for about an hour.Cons: (none. for the price, you really can't gripe about this book)To my 17 month old son, this book is awesome as he can see many different animals/mammals in a different light from his other animal books. I would recommend this book to any parent looking to entertain their child with something other than a television.

“Big Mammals of the World” is a 52 page book that will capture the attention of your animal loving child. It is packed full of beautiful colorful photographs. The book also contains approximately 20 interesting animal facts scattered between the stunningly vibrant pages in the book.The book is short and concise so that it will hold short attention spans very well. I would also like to add that this is not an easy reader for children though because there are a few tough words so parents will most likely have to actually read this aloud for their younger children. Although this book is technically recommended for children of all ages, as a teacher and a mother, I would probably recommend that this book is most suitable for approximate ages 4-10. As a mom and a teacher, this would also be a great book to have on a device in your classroom for children to be able to enjoy in a reading center.Every evening my son and I curl up on the couch and enjoy a book together, and lately he has been insistent on me reading from my phone. I was very impressed with this book. I have a toddler and preschooler and like to find ebooks for them that have amazing pictures and a few interesting facts I can share. Often in this type of book I find that the text doesn't exactly match the picture. Usually the grammar is horrific and some sentences practically require translation. Not so with Big Mammals of the World. The pictures were amazing. The facts were relevant to the picture shown and I found it easy to discuss the picture in relation to them. They are also more in-depth than with most books, expanding my knowledge about some different mammals as well. I was also impressed with the variety of mammals included. In addition to elephants, rhinos, and gorillas, the book goes under the see to explain how whales are mammals as well. This is perhaps not a revelation to you or I, but having anything in common with a *whale* blew my 3.5 year old's mind. I highly recommend this book for both preschool children and younger gradeschoolers and plan to make sure I have it with me next time we go to the zoo so I can discuss more of the interesting facts with my children.I received this product free or at discount for my honest testing and review. This should probably be read in conjunction with Philip Hill's Lacan for Beginners, the latter of which takes a more linear, deterministic approach the likes of which Leader, in accordance with his readings of Lacan, tends to repudiate. That being said, it distills the seminars, which one should also be advised to read, into a nice exposition. The layman--and I sort of am one--should keep in mind that academics at some of the country's best universities have spent years studying these theories and still find them difficult to comprehend; one can conceivably spend years writing a Ph.D. dissertation on said theorist...the upshot of all of this being that one shouldn't get discouraged if even the ostensibly "lowly" comic book is perplexing.

The basic information is all there, it seems. But to comprehend it, you have to deal with some bizarre syntax and poor editing (kindle edition). I had more luck reading about each subject on Wikipedia and then coming back to the book to stitch it all together. I have enjoyed other entries in this series quite a bit, so this was disappointing.

The "Graphic Guide" captures many of Lacan's basic ideas with creative pictorial imaginations. I have published on Lacan myself and know very well many other introductions. You can not compare those with a Grahic Guide. That seams quite obvious to me. Therefore taking into account what a "graphic guide" can do I was astonished about the many insights this little book can convey. I know other books of Darian Leader and I think with this book he did a very good job again.

Concise and easy to follow. Highly recommend!

Lacan does not really come across as stimulating in this presentation, though perhaps it is in fact informative on the life and work of Lacan.

The book matched the description, was affordable, and was exactly what I needed for my gender studies class. Thank you.

Easy to understand such difficult topic

Even if you've read the Ecrits in French, get a copy of this book. Even if only to loan out to friends. The illustrations are clever and beautiful and it's a little joy to flip through.
