I bought the item thinking it was the actual book itself, so it was an accidental purchase actually...I was going to look into returning it but it would cost $4 to mail it and it only cost $10 so I'd only get $6 back and considering that I just purchased the genuine book and am waiting for it, I've already waited a few days for the book, I'm just going to keep the participants guide. I haven't read it yet , it looks like it'll be useful for small groups and devotionals though...may help with some sermons.I wasn't glad to find out that it follows along with a dvd that amazon doesn't sell with the purchase, but it does explain why it is so cheap. There's an ISBN on the back of the book for the cd but I don't understand if that can actually be of any help with the cd.N.T. Wright is an excellent scholar though so I don't entirely mind having anythin of his work in my possesion, i bought the participants guide because i saw it was $10 online and got excited about it's cheapt price without realizing it was'nt the entire book as well.But ah well ...

This would not even get two stars except that it included a video of the author leading the lessons. The original book speaks for itself quite well.

A favorite!

A brilliant book all the way through, filling in holes that I wasn't aware were in my eschatology. But what I really loved were his concluding comments about a missional eschatology.

Delves into an aspect of Christian belief that is often overlooked or misunderstood.

I started this book with a little trepidation about the subject matter. Fortunately, it is so well written and his presentation so compelling that I find myself with more hope now than ever before in my 62 years on earth, 55 of them as a believer. I rated this high because of his humble attitude about presenting his solid if not a little bit off the beaten track, views about where our hope as believers should truly lie. I participated in a discussion group with friends about the material in this book and loved our time together centered around lively discussions!

I am a fan of N.T. (Tom) Wright. This DVD is very well produced. He is very articulate and clear. Setting is appealing. Easy to follow. One of the best.

This book was for a class but it was difficult to read. I think the author has unique ideas on this subject

It has lots of typos. Not written well, sometimes hard to read, very dry. Use additional resources for the exam.

You figure for this being the company that writes the IOS they teach about that they would get the commands right in the examples and explain theory in a less convoluted sense. Quite a few errors.

long winded hard too read at times

I solely used this book and some misc Googling and passed the 301 exam easily. There were a number of mistakes in screen dumps and examples, but in my mind, finding the mistakes is part of confirming you understand the material. I don't think they took away from the educational value of the book.

Great book! Very informative and useful!

This book has provided me with a lot of understanding on why and when to implement a certain protocols on a network. I recommend this book for anyone who trying to figure out the results of your actions of what you are trying to accomplish and what to expect when you make changes in a networking.This book has become the glue to the puzzle pieces. My goal is not just to pass the CCNP test but to be able to explain it, design and implement it. I would suggest cross reference information to verify but like someone said on this review it can only make you a better engineer over all

The book currently has a word document 32 pages long of errata. The amount of errors I have found not listed in the errata would double the errata size. Reading this book is extremely slow and difficult knowing that it's extremely likely you are learning inaccurate information. This forces you to utilize other sources to verify everything you are reading.

Exactly what I expected when ordering. No complaints!

I can’t believe I’m doing this. I have never given a bad review. It’s not my style to knock someone’s baby, and after writing a story, that’s what it is to the author.This story is dark, cruel and left me sad. At no point should rape be glorified or excused. Not. Ever. Just because she yelled at him to just do it when she HAD NO CHOICE, is not consent.Never should you be disrespected, kidnapped, held against your will or belittled.I do understand the story the author was trying to tell. I also know life isn’t always sunshine, unicorns and baby animals.The story premise was interesting. It is a story which would be a hard story to tell. But broken people aren’t always cruel, mean or vindictive. One thing I was never able to figure out, was how did she even develop feelings for him when he was absolutely horrible to her in every way? When the “feelings” were developing he was not showing her anything but cruelty and disgust.I just couldn’t get into the story. It was too dark, too disturbing and left me with an overwhelming feeling of darkness and ick. I skipped more pages than I read, just skimming most of them to see if I was missing anything important. I wasn’t. Rape. Is. Wrong. Cruelty. Is. Wrong. Broken people do stupid things granted. But not on this scale.Women, it is never ok to be forced to submit, to sex, to another’s cruel behavior, to another’s will. Never.But the really disturbing part is where the readers have given this a 4.8 stars out of 5. What does that tell us about our view of ourselves and the society we live in?

Wolfe Keaton is despicable, cruel, he has no mercy for anyone, he also is sooooo sexy, he melted my panties, gave me goosebumps and made me blush several times. But nevertheless, he captured my heart. He loves so hard, the sweet way he protects and cares for the heroine, wow, I'm dying of love for him, he's my new obsession. He was her thief of everything that mattered.The wait and anticipation was worth it! I fell in love with this story over and over again! An incredible story...he was her fate.A girl whose life was all planned out for her with none of her input. She's about to be set free even though at first it feels like a cage.I absolutely adored these characters and their many facets. A few twists and turns that kept me guessing and wondering. But ultimately it was an unforgettably epic, yet unconventional, love story. You will be on an emotional roller coaster of anger, frustration, heartbreak. wonder, lust, hate, forgiveness, indecision, acceptance and LOVE. And the ride is just beautiful.So much pain, yet there is beauty in pain. When you find the one who can help lessen your burden, and heal your heart, you never let go.Read it! You need to because you will love them as much as I do.

Standard issue abuse, manipulation, and rape thinly disguised as romance. I spent the whole book genuinely uncomfortable, wondering how a female author could ethically publish this normalization of rape culture. All around yikes.

I love Harry. I think his demographics arguments are great for analyzing the state of the economy. However, I am not so sure demographics is best for explaining the stock market. Further, with the internet and modern competitive capitalism things change faster than in the past. We may be already passed the period that these cycles were useful. They may have to be updated as our economic life speeds forward. We’ll see!

Dent is basically an economist with an emphasis in investments. He starts the book with a mind-numbing number of various economic, political, and social cycles which produce an even larger mind-numbing number of dates. The theory is that all these cycles converge at the same time about every 250 years to produce revolutionary economic, political, and social upheavals.Starting with Luther's Reformation of 1517 we have a revolutionary upheaval that divided Europe into Protestant and Catholic sections. About 250 years later in 1776 we got the American Revolution which ushered in major political (democracy), economic (free enterprise), and social (industrial revolution) changes. This system has been in place for 242 years and Dent predicts a major financial crisis sometime between 2017 and 2020 which will produce new changes. Dent says the 2016 Brexit vote and the Trump election are just the beginning of the coming revolution.Whether you believe in cycles or not there is no doubt that we are in troubled times. Social unrest is increasing, public anger is increasing, political polarization is increasing and the whole system is sinking into greater debt. Total debt in America including government, business, and personal debt is approaching $70 trillion but no one seems to know the exact number.We are definitely in an anti-establishment rebellion against the elites who run government and business with top-down management which has been facilitated by computers. Dent believes the coming social revolution will change society into one that is bottom-up with a networking model of business where every employee will be a business, meaning that employees will have the power to be like entrepreneurs and create business practices on their own. This model will spread to all of society which will be more productive because more egalitarian, democratic, inclusive, and decentralized.As Dent notes, economic crashes tend to happen in October. It is now almost a year from when Dent thought we may have a crash in late 2017 and the next October is only a few months away. The current economic expansion will be the longest in history in about a month and it will be hard to keep it going. So Trump has an extremely difficult challenge ahead of him. He has been able to stimulate business with cuts in taxes and regulations but it is not certain how long this stimulation can last. The Democrats of course are doing everything they can to obstruct anything he does.Trump's current move is to counter foreign tariffs with American tariffs and the media constantly reports that these tariffs will hurt American consumers. There is no appreciation that American business can replace any foreign goods with American made goods, that this will increase employment, or that domestic competition can the lower prices of these substitute goods. So we will have to wait and see if America can keep its economic expansion going or if Dent's cycles will take over.

Must read for caution in your financial future. While Harry is not always right, you cannot ignore the demographics impact on our economy. History repeats itself and if you survived that recent US financial crash you will understand the house of cards will once again fold. Be careful what cards you are holding when it takes another crash.

I have read most if what Harry Dent has written. This is not his best book. His remarks in the first third of the book seemed uncharacteristically juvenile, and he seemed to want to push a liberal philosophy. It got better towards the last two-thirds, more like his old self. Compared to Jim Rickards’ “The Road to Ruin” it compares badly. But his simpler approach may appeal to some people who have not read much on this subject before. A great exercise to “compare and contrast” the two approaches to a similar subject.

My 10 year old daughter actually enjoyed learning vocabulary with the help of this book.AMAZING.Can pace yourself to learn about 10 words at a time. There are cute cartoons with rhymes to help you remember something about each word. After each section there are some practice quizes. Very well done. Helps children learn and remember each word in a fun way.
